The 6^th annual conference of the Gesellschaft für Empirische Bildungsforschung (GEBF- Association of Empirical Educational Research) 2018 toke place in Basle (Switzerland) from 15 to 17 February 2018.
It was hosted by FHNW School of Education and the University of Basle Institute of Educational Sciences under the motto "Professional action competence in teaching and learning as a challenge for educational research”.

A pre-conference for junior scientists was held on 14 February 2018 from 1 p.m. This was aimed specially at doctoral students and post-docs from all disciplines related to educational science.
